The main objective for this office was to provide the staff with an inspiring place to work. The main emphasis within the brief was functionality, staff moral and technology. Within this design there was a big focus on workplace benefits and healthy working habits, something which WF&G wanted to change right from the start.
WF&G also wanted to increase the area for client meeting and collaboration. To accommodate this requirement, part of another floor was acquired for them to extend their office and to fulfil their requirements.
By consultations with key members of WF&G organisation, we were able to identify the issues for us to focus on. The study really helped to identify and understand how the existing office was utilised. WF&G wanted change, so understanding how their business operated was Key. We found that they did a lot of their work through collaboration and were held back by the lack of these types of spaces.
The refurbishment for WF&G was a refreshing change to their existing office layout. WF&G wanted a stylish and contemporary working environment that reflected their success and allowed for growth.
We designed their newly acquired office space to be client facing, through formal and informal meeting rooms. New technologies such as specialist AV Facilities were used to re-enforce their need for collaboration. The understated but elegant scheme is complimented with splashes of colour for their distinct branding. High spec. finishes play an important role in creating a striking minimalist look.
Furniture classics (Knoll and Eames) were used to create sophisticated new spacious client facing areas.
